3 new designs we did for Pi Pizza and their St. Louis and Washington, D.C. locations. These were all printed on chambray workshirts for the employees to wear, as well as to be sold in store to customers.
Thanks to Travis Lawrence of Infinity-Prints.
We were honored to have been asked to create a cover for the newly released, incredibly beautiful, rich and poignant book 2012. Limited to 1000 copies and packed with super amazing art by world’s top tattoo artists on the eschaton/end of the world. Try hard to get one for yourself. The whole project was put together by masterminds EZRA HAIDET and ZACH NELLIGAN from Triple Crown Tattoo in Austin, Texas. Contact them for your copy. Congratulations guys! Superb job!

Best pizza in STL hands down.

For their new record titled “Ex Lives”, and supporting tour, ETID and JBWW collaborated on a new t-shirt graphic. We again had the pleasure of contributing the color and spin to the design. This is our sixth collaboration with Jordan Buckley and the band and love it every time. Click here to preorder their new record on Epitaph Records and merch packages. Also check out JBWW here.
Not too far back we completed another new look for our dudes at Iron Tiger Tattoo in Columbia. We thought it was a nice spin on a very classic and traditional piece. Click here to see the rest of the collection we’ve done for them.
Our guy Jordan Buckley from JBWW/ETID had us do a few more colorings of his hand drawn images. A few were done in the spirit of Halloween and we thought they turned out pretty sick. Check out the rest of the images we’ve done lately here and to grab some of this gear check out Jordan’s JBWW site here.

For the past several years we’ve been creating skate deck artwork for the Plan Nine skateboard company here in St. Louis. This is the most recent graphic we did for them and we think it turned out pretty nice. The deck was released on Saturday so head over to their skate park at the St. Louis Mills Mall to pick one up.

So since we’re all still here today we thought we’d throw up the brand new look we just did for our good friends at Iron Tiger Tattoo in Columbia, MO. This is the fourth look that we’ve done for them to date and we’re thinkin it might be the most dynamic one yet. It’ll be available at their shop in a few weeks. So again, just like we told you last week, if you live in Columbia, or are there for whatever reason, you need to stop in at the shop and pick up a couple tee’s. And since it looks like the next date for impending Earthly doom isn’t ’til December of 2012 you’ve got some time left to do that!
I’ve lived in St. Louis for almost four years now and up until last week I’d never been to the Botanical Gardens or the Cathedral Basilica. Both are staple destinations in the city so when I finally visited em I figured I should probably photograph a little bit of what I saw and share. None of this is probably new to most others but it was definitely new to me. The artwork in the Basilica is something you just have to see for yourself and the views of nature the Gardens offer is spectacular. So if your like me and haven’t been to either of these spots, especially the Basilica, you should really go soon. My girlfriend actually planned the whole day so I owe her a thanks for getting me out to see all that cool stuff!
Awhile back we did the logo for Pointfest which was spotlighted here about a month. We also put together a poster version of the logo which was printed and completed today. We thought they turned out exceptionally well. The posters will be sold at the festival for fans to get autographs from their favorite bands. Pointfest is this coming Sunday, the 15th, so If your interested in the line-up click here to check it out.
Awhile back we did some t-shirt designs for our good friend Gabe Garcia, owner of Iron Tiger Tattoo in Columbia, MO. They’ve had these tee’s for sale at their shop for a minute now but we’ve yet to put a spotlight on them so here it is. We’ve done three looks for them so far and hope to do several more. If you end up in Columbia stop in and pick up a shirt or two…..and while your there you should also get a tattoo. The artists there are crazy talented. Check out Iron Tiger Tattoo on the web and you can follow them on twitter @irontigertattoo.
Josh has been designing beer labels for a new brewery in Austin, TX for the past year or so. To date he’s designed six labels for their different style beers and very recently completed the seventh which you see above. Twisted X is currently running a contest where locals in Austin and fans of the beer get to submit their ideas for the name of the beer. The soft opening for the brewery is actually tomorrow and we wish those guys all the luck….congrats to Jim and Shane! We’ve really enjoyed the opportunity to help in developing the look of their company and their labels! Check their site out here!
We actually designed and produced this shirt for Kingpin Tattoo Supply awhile ago so some of you may have already seen it. However, we felt it still deserved a worthy blog so here it finally is! This is actually the third look we’ve done for Kingpin and its by far our most favorite. If you wanna pick this tee up its available at Kingpin Tattoo Supply!
MATW produced the graphic for 105.7 The Point’s St. Louis concert series.
A little while back we were asked by The Salvation Army to come up with a new t-shirt graphic for them. We of course jumped at the opportunity to work with one of the worlds largest charitable organizations and really enjoyed the time we spent on it. Many thanks to The Salvation Army and most notably Michael Swanson. We look forward to future work with them!
It was an honor to be invited to show a selection of photographs from 2010 at The Schmidt Art Gallery at Southwestern Illinois College. 14 20×30 inch photographs were on display from January 25th to February 27th, 2011. Thanks to everyone who made it out!
