Last week when the Vans Warped tour rolled through St. Louis Josh and I had a few hour window to get out there and shoot a couple bands and watch a few sets. First up for us during our short slot was Eminem’s protege, Yelawolf. He did about a 30 min. set performing tracks from his Trunk Muzik mix-tape and a few from his first full length record, Radioactive, that comes out in September. Next up was metalcore favorites August Burns Red. They played a chaotic and tight set consisting mostly of tracks from their June release Leveler. Last up for us was Southern California deathcore band Winds of Plague. They played a brutal set and had the kids in the crowd going insane. As usual it was disgustingly hot at the Vans tour but we had a blast shooting the sets and hanging out for the afternoon. Follow these bands here @Yelawolf, @abrband and @windsofplague.
